The walk will capture 2,000 years of history at Cardiff Castle, telling the tale of Roman and Norman occupations. By marriage the Castle passed into the hands of the Butes, a Scottish aristocratic family in the 1700s and it was their creation of Cardiff docks that created a fortune and drove the Industrial Revolution.
